Introducing The Missing Cryptoqueen
The Missing Cryptoqueen
This is a fantastic investigative documentary podcast that dives into the mystery of a missing woman called Dr Ruja Ignatova, aka the "Cryptoqueen" who is wanted for her OneCoin cryptocurrency mega scam. I love this podcast because you get to go on this wild journey with hosts Jamie and Georgia across Europe and even a fancy beauty pageant! Terrifically well-researched and produced. The custom music score by the London Bulgarian Choir is also fabulous. That's why I'm choosing this as one of my favourite podcasts of 2019 for @podcastplaylist!

Feature requests aren't demand
Interesting way to look at product feature request and frame it as feature "supply" vs "demand". Things that look like feature demand may actually be supply not unlike bosses instructing you to create features just because. The best way to sort this out is to ask users "when" they encounter a situation where they felt like they needed the feature they are requesting vs asking "why". Asking "when" helps you understand the actual circumstances and issues, which then you can use to figure out the solution through design.
Metrics aren't projects
Good reminder of why you need to allocate time and mindspace to shape projects and features outside of regular sprint cadence before committing to building those features. Every feature that you're building is like a "bet" towards improving a metric goal and taking the time to shape helps you narrow down those bets to be smarter bets.
