The series as a whole is utterly worth it--hardly ever has the human ability to see and interpret the same exact events completely oppositely been so perfectly illuminated.

This starts out amazing, and just keeps getting better through every episode! I cannot recommend it enough!

This is an incredible story, full of fascinating characters. I wish I could be best friends with John McLemore.

If you haven't yet listened to S-Town, fix that. One of the best podcasts in the last year

A friend recommended this series to me. Previous to it my exposure to podcasts had been fictional stories presented as if real and at first I thought this was the same - it's that wild a story. When my friend told me a couple episodes in, that "no no it's real. This is a real person, a real story," I was thrown and reexamined everything I'd just listened to because how. I'm sure I went through every emotion I could listening to this and can't recommend it enough.
@jakburnsides That’s amazing that you went audio drama route first before non-fiction for podcasts. It’s usually the opposite!
@mm I think the very first podcast I listened to was Welcome to Nightvale because the same friend recommended it and I wanted to know the source of all the cool fanart I saw. Its only recent that I've branched out to non fiction and loving it just as much
@jakburnsides Your journey into podcasts is so much more interesting and cool than mine. I started listening to podcasts that were of men interviewing people...heh

This podcast turned out to be not at all what I expected, although, I think the very same has been said by the host, as it transforms from a potential murder investigation into an examination of a complex, misunderstood, damaged individual.

Amazing story. Twists and turns throughout, and beautifully told. The end will blow your mind.
