What happens when the designer of a very extensive long-term project passes away in the middle of it? Do we have to stay true to that designer’s original intent?
@mm I’m fine with things evolving from his original vision, to be honest. This entire project with its long construction history is very much in the spirit of a medieval cathedral and plans for those changed with every generation.

I can't believe they burned down Gaudi's office and all the La Sagrada Familia plans with it....noooo....😱

Nearly 100 years later this otherworldly structure is still being built. Generations of architects have attempted to interpret and bring to life Gaudi’s highly personal vision after the detailed models were destroyed in the Civil War.
