Daniel Wozniak is an American convicted murderer. Wozniak is convicted for killing and dismembering his neighbour, Samuel Herr, for his life savings, so that Wozniak could hold a wedding. Soon after, Wozniak also killed Herr’s acquaintance Juri Kibushi in order to misdirect police into thinking Herr had killed Kibushi, then went on the run. This ruse was later discovered, and Wozniak was found guilty and sentenced to death in 2016. This case has been covered by podcasts such as Forensic Tales, From Crime to Crime, and Open Shudders.
