Behind the Scenes with a Podcaster: Nick Glimsdahl from “Press 1 for Nick”

We’re trying something new! For the next few weeks, we’re featuring behind the scenes interviews with podcast creators. Hear more about how podcasts are created and maybe even get inspired to start one yourself.
Hello! What’s your background and what’s your podcast about?
The Press 1 For Nick podcast is both educational and engaging, and each episode offers listeners a dynamic blend of insightful stories, best practices, and invaluable lessons. My guests – each with a unique wealth of knowledge – include leaders from a variety of backgrounds and industries. Some of my guests include a hostage negotiator, a former VP of Disney’s Magic Kingdom, Lyft’s Head of Partner and Customer Engagement, and others.
What motivated you to start a podcast?
My goal was to find ways to add value during the pandemic and learn from others along the way.
How have you attracted listeners and grown the podcast?
I started building a community right away. The more I listened to my listeners, the more traction I gained. Since August, I also got into video, which has 10x my exposure.
