One hundred and eighty recovering COVID-19 patients. One Jerusalem hotel. Secular, religious, Arabs, Jews, old, young. Their phones are out, they're recording. And the rest of Israel is... tuning in.
An insight from toward the end of this great episode: reality TV producers actually have a hard time making juicy television because people are “annoyingly good at getting along.” (Someone who worked for The Bachelorette Canada told me a version of this once.)
Thing is peace, laughter and camarade...Show More
@fiercefab That’s probably why Tiger King was a reality TV goldmine. You didn’t even need to try and there was more outrageous drama than any writer can think up.
What happens when you put Arabs, Jews, old and young people who all have the Coronavirus together in a hotel? Something beautiful happens. The default human condition of getting along trumps all the societal rules and norms.
It’s funny how this episode made me actually jealous of people with coronavirus living in this hotel together. It sound away more fun and comforting than my experience has been

@olivier A TV show where everyone gets along? Blasphemy! We humans only like drama. Cue Tiger King.

❤️ It's not always the easy choice, but if you break out of our cacoons, you might have a lot of fun meeting new and different people.
