Something is wrong with the Apple Podcasts top charts. As a podcaster, this personally annoyed and intrigued me. I investigate how this is happening and who is behind it. For show notes visit https://...Show More

An inconsequential quest where the host tries to figure out how people are gaming the Apple Podcasts podcast chart. Fun, intriguing, and horrifying (in some ways) listen. The host should do more of these! It feels very Mystery Show-esque.

Probably outdated, but this is an interesting investigation into podcast promoters in Bangladesh who could get any podcast into the Apple podcast top charts. Kind of like a mini Long Distance almost? I wonder if this still works or if Apple did crack down on it.
