We have all heard “Don’t drink the Kool-aid” but few of us know where that phrase comes from, or how the situation was more complicated than being just a mass suicide. This is a very well done deep dive into what happened at Jonestown, I definitely recommend it if you are interested in cults.

@poisonedink44 I took a religion course that talked about the sociology of religions and New Age groups / cults. Jonestown was in this category 🥴 Super scary to see that this how the phrase came to be!
