βWonβt You Be My Neighbor?β was one of the most powerful documentaries of last year.. This 10 part miniseries following Fred Rogers lessons on empathy is so welcomed in these polarizing times.
I am so glad that popular mainstream culture has discovered the empathetic genius of Fred Rogers. I'm relishing hearing the stories of how others, like me, have come to find comfort in his work from childhood to adulthood.
This was such a moving episode, nothing childlike at all, but a nostalgic look at Fred Rogers and his impact on a whole generation. There really is a reason for the recent Mr. Rogers nostalgia. This episode was a great reminder of the revolutionary work that he has put out for children and adults alike and how we approach difficult converstions and feelings with the children and people around us.
