This podcast is amazing and really breaks down what went wrong in Hurricane Katrina, and how the governments reaction exacerbated the crisis. It exposes racial tensions that shaped the response - from reports of looting and wide spread rape - that the media and police irresponsibly ran with.

I thought this episode was:

@jhawthorne So interesting that there weren't any ads on this other than encouraging listeners to go to check out more Atlantic content and support them. Really interesting strategy because this podcast was obviously not cheap to make!

@mm yeahhh, i bet they're regretting that a bit now. But they probably wanted to use that to elevate their 'brand'. Curious what they're going to do with any similar projects in the works

@jhawthorne The Atlantic is all about brand elevation ;) I hope they are going to do more projects because whoever's behind the production of this is πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘ŒπŸ‘Œ
