@phocks I was aware of all the points they brought up but I never saw it all through that particular lens until it was laid out like that.

I really didn’t know anything about PewDiePie so this was very enlightening. His personality cult is really rather terrifying

@mm that cliffhanger at the end. Can’t wait for the next episode. It’s pretty horrifying to know he is the biggest superstar, and what he and his fans stand for.

@olivier @mm tbh, I came away from this episode feeling a bit of sympathy for him, I felt some of the stories about him were manufactured to make him look bad, and I can understand how people can rally behind that. @danny @mm I didn’t feel any bit of sympathy. He looked like a profiteur and someone who should’ve have known better. I actually feel he’s an undeserving scumbag.

The formulation of clips, voiceovers and narration is just brilliant! Best played on a Sunday walk.

I used to watch a lot of Pewdiepie videos back in the day but he eventually fell off the radar for me. Really shocking to hear what transpired during these past years paired with the chilling audio clips that brought back haunting nostalgia.
