I wish that this were an ongoing series! I find QAnon to be one of the most disturbing things that has happened since 2016. it definitely makes me feel like we live in a post-truth society.
@rmmiller364 there were a lot of terrifying things on this podcast. The alt-right combined with the recommendation algorithms was also really scary. I loved the ending commentary. It was a really good series
@rmmiller364 Had the same thought as you re: Warren to QAnon. I had to listen to that part twice to hear that there was actually a Youtube path from Warren to QAnon. So crazy.
That part about TikTok and how they curate a super positive fun version of reality compared to other social sites because of the Chinese control.
