Interesting episode about what communities are doing to help the homeless. They counted 100,000 people who were homeless, so they found 100,000 homes for them, but that didn't work. I wished they answered why!

It’s always wild how often we know the correct answer to something (based on the math), but bridging the gap to turn the math into public policy is quite the chasm. This episode is a great example of that.

I didn't know NYC has a law requiring homeless people to be sheltered. This episode argues that shelters are more expensive than more permanent housing, and that housing is an easier problem to solve than imagined.
