I never heard about the heroic Hello Girls who served in the US Army during WWI. It’s an amazing tale, and I’m really sad they had to fight the US government so long to be recognized for their service.
Interesting to compare and contrast with the WWI story of the female nursing corps in the Canadian armed forces, where they were inducted as serving officers. Also, as far as I know, women got the vote in Canada not because they served in WWI but because the gov’t of the day thought that enfranchis...Show More
