1) Brandon Lawson - 193
One of the most baffling missing person cases that still remains unsolved today, the story of Brandon Lawson is a must-listen. On August 8, 2013, Brandon left his home — and four young children — in the middle of the night after a fight with his girlfriend. Shortly after, his brother Kyle received a call from Brandon saying that he had run out of gas on the side of the highway. But when Kyle arrived to help him, Brandon’s car was abandoned and he was nowhere to be found. Brandon also made a strange call to 911 before Kyle arrived that is the fodder of much speculation. What happened to Brandon Lawson? Listen to this best episode and see if you can put the pieces together.
2) Lululemon Murder - 157
On March 12, 2011, the owner of a Lululemon in Bethesda, Maryland was opening up the shop when she realized that the place had been ransacked. Authorities soon found one worker, Jayna Murray, murdered, and a survivor, Brittany Norwood, tied up with zip ties and covered in cuts. At the hospital, Brittany told authorities what happened that night: she had forgotten her wallet in the store after closing and had called Jayna to let her in. When the two women were inside, two men dressed in black attacked them. However, Brittany’s story doesn’t add up, and as Aaron and Justin reveal the true nature of this case, you’ll see why this is regarded by fans as one of the best episodes of Generation Why.
