Crime Junkie podcast host Ashley Flowers has become well-known in the true crime community for her storytelling ability and smooth voice. Each week she recounts a different case to her childhood friend and co-host Brit Prawat, usually in standalone episodes that will give you “full body chills” (as Brit and Ashley would say). This episode about the murder of two teen girls hits home for the Crime Junkie hosts as it takes place very close to where they grew up in Indiana. It’s an unsolved case, but there are recordings of the suspect taken on one of the victim’s phones that police hope will lead to his arrest. Still, no one has been able to identify him.
