Crazy story! I've got to say, though, you've got to read the book "Bad Blood". I think it's a little bit of a better storytelling.

@sippola21 Do you mean Bad Blood or this podcast is better storytelling? Haven't read Bad Blood, but tempted. Unsure if too much repetition though. Also, not sure if you've listened to The Missing Cryptoqueen. Very similar vibe to The Dropout: https://podyssey.fm/podcast/itunes1480370173-The-Missin...Show More

@mm @sippola21 Bad Blood is better. It's one of my favourite books. There's a lot of overlap, though.

@sippola21 Ah, thanks!

@mm @sippola21 The podcast is a great companion to the book, in that it enlivens the depositions and characters in the book, and it adds some new interviews. The book and the podcast each have a different aspect of the Theranos story to tell. Both are worthwhile, and I didn't find too much annoying ...Show More

@mm @sippola21 Just listened to Missing Cryptoqueen - another of these unbelievable real stories that should never happen. BBC reporting and they get into the details!

Oh wow. Holmes sounds much worse and more problematic than what was reported in the media. The interviews with advisors and employees are insightful.

You should echo the episodes :) Also more binge-worthy white collar crime series on my playlist here: https://podyssey.fm/list/podcast-episodes/id55-White-collar-crime I suggest "The Dream". @acserrano This is the Theranos series we mentioned. I donβt know how similar it is to the show you watched, but thereβs one episode in here about the office lying incident. The last episode of the series is good too about Holmes today after exit from Theranos. That definitely should be new material...Show More

It seems like the cult of personality trumps all (yes that is a deliberate pun) when it comes to many situations. Iβm just amazed at how long someone can play this game. This limited series podcast is filled with REALLY moments as it unfolds the tale of people throwing money at the next big thing de...Show More

I'm creating my 'best of 2019' list right now and I cannot recommend this series enough. This was the very first podcast series I accidently binged on. Reporter Rebecca Jarvis does an excellent job of storytelling through diverse interview segments with different people and an analysis into Elizabet...Show More
