This type of work culture is so known in the startup and tech worlds, a lot of young people trying to find their way in this world and searching for conn...Show More

Really enjoyed this episode on the role that work plays in our lives. Those who enjoyed the Ezra Klein episode with Anne Helen Petersen and Derek Thompson will enjoy this one too!

Ok WeWork is definitely not just a poorly managed company. It’s definitely evil. What they did to the IT woman was awful. This is a good episode to listen to with the new podcast series about Netflix and the Ezra Klein workism episodes. I rounded up a playlist about workism here: https://podyssey.fm...Show More

Incredible episode that unpacks the truth about work culture and how employers like WeWork use the myth of "culture" and the allusion of a "work family" to convince people to make their work, the be-all, end-all. I've been thinking about this a lot recently and this episode led me to an a-ha I had n...Show More

@aliceko Great insight! I’ve seen the unhealthy WeWork culture through an acquaintance who was still employed at WeWork during the pandemic... I’ve had the a ha moment you mention in my own life. As a Millennial, I’ve made the mistake of trying to make work and career fulfill deeper desires. (I pro...Show More
